That moment when you know you found what you have been looking for!

We flew to Chicago and then rented a car and drove to Bristle, Indiana. We drove to the Augusta RV factory and met with Debra Schmucker on March 21, 2016. We arrived at the factory at 10:00AM and we didn’t leave until 6:00PM. We got a complete factory tour. This was the 4^th RV factory that we have toured! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable.  The people working in the factory often spoke up to explain what they were doing and why. They were happily at work and it was nice to see people who really enjoyed their jobs. We decided to order a 2017 Ambition 33qs! Excited!!! We went over the options and discussed everything from bed size to prep for solar to furniture to dump options.

 These units are exactly like the one we ordered except

 that ours will be 2 feet shorter.

Debra promised to keep in touch, send pictures as they make the first 33rl in April/May, for another couple that wanted the smaller size.

Tom was in Chicago on business in late April and he decided to drive over to Bristle Indiana and see the first 33qs being built and to talk with Debra again. He “face timed” me while he was there. It was a beautiful classy unit!! Tom was again impressed with the quality build he saw.

In April 2016, we officially ordered our new Ambition 33qs!! We talked more details with Debra and got it all ironed out. We wired the 10% down and …. HUGE commitment to our new lifestyle!! The unit we ordered will be put on the order sheet but we asked that it be finished for pickup on October 3, 2016. So, they won't start making it for a little bit yet.

We added things to the basic unit: heavy duty suspension, 2 Fantastic fans, different furniture, prep for solar, prep for generator, sewer hose storage, etc.
